I’m running this October for the 1 in 40 Australians on the autism spectrum.

Ive joined Frankies Wolfpack to raise funds for Autism.

Frankie is the daughter of my boss at Harvest bar, Amelia Nowlan. Frankie was born perfect, hitting all milestones, walking, talking and acting like any other little girl her age until she hit 2 years old. She stopped speaking and was behaving differently. She was diagnosed with Autism. They said she wouldnt ever talk, most likely not be toilet trained and not go to a mainstream school and need help for the rest of her life. Lucky for Frankie, she has a family who were determined to do all they could. Got her a speech therapist, OT’s and gave her so much support and continue to do so still. After lots of support Frankie  is talking, toilet trained in mainstream school!!!

I feel so privileged to have been able to share in Frankie’s Journey. I initially was her educator at preschool and then helped the family with babysitting and now close to the whole  family. They are amazing in supporting Frankie in her journey. I love her she is truly a special little girl who has touched my heart and so many others . Help me raise to support these families get the help they need !

I have been running the last 6 days after a very long break . Frankie is my inspiration along with other family members affected by Autism and many friends and children I work with.

Any contribution, large or small, will help create a more inclusive future for Australia’s Autistic community.

Thank you so much!
