I’m running this October for Nikolas
I’m running 40km this October to raise funds for the estimated 1 in 40 Australians on the autism spectrum!
Nikolas was diagnosed with Autism at the age of 2. It was such a daunting time trying to navigate specialist appointments while trying to figure out the “system”
Nikolas has faced a lot of discrimination in his lifetime and he doesn’t even know it. He was always left out or put in the “too hard basket”.
Nikolas is finally in an environment where he can thrive and he has come so far, but this isn’t the case for a lot of kids. Unfortunately kids who need to be at a special school or have extra support are overlooked and shoved into the mainstream school system where they are over looked and lost in the system.
I’m running to help raise money for other families and children on the spectrum.
