This year I am personally looking to run 180km this October to raise funds and awareness for the estimated 1 in 40 Australians on the autism spectrum!

This year, I will be participating in the Run for Autism, a cause that holds immense significance for my family, especially for my 6-year-old son, King Ashton Gladman.

Ashton’s journey has been one of resilience and discovery. Thanks to early diagnosis and intervention, we have witnessed remarkable progress and growth in him. We feel incredibly fortunate to have received the support we needed, and it is our mission to ensure that other families have access to the same opportunities and benefits.

By participating in this event, we aim not only to raise funds but also to create awareness about autism and the importance of early intervention. Together, we can shine a light on this cause and help others navigate their journeys with the resources they deserve.

Let’s come together to advocate for awareness, support, and understanding in our community. Together, we can make a positive impact for children like Ashton.

We have joined Run for autism to raise funds so more Autistic Australians can access the life-changing assessments, autism-specific education, specialist therapies and adult community services they need to create their own unique brilliance!

Any contribution, large or small, will help create a more inclusive future for Australia’s Autistic community.
