I’m running 120km this October for my two boys
I've signed up to run 120km this October to raise funds for the estimated 1 in 40 Australians on the autism spectrum!
I'm the proud father of two amazing boys, both of which are on the autism spectrum.
They spend each waking day, using their beautifully neuro-diverse brains, decoding and dealing with this neuro-typical world. It's not easy for them, nor is it it easy for 1 in 40 Australians.
I figure that it is not asking much of me to run 4km a day for the 31 days of October to help raise awareness and funds for Australia's Autistic community.
Funds raised in Run for Autism will help more Autistic Australians access life-changing assessments, autism-specific education, specialist therapies and adult community services they need to create their own unique brilliance!
Any contribution, large or small, will help create a more inclusive future for Australia’s Autistic community.
