My why.....🫶

Early last year my daughter was diagnosed with Autism and ADHD, only family and a few close friends know but it is not a secret and not something I am ashamed about or feel I need to hide, I am proud of my daughter, she is smart, beautiful, kind, loving and has so much to give to this world.

I wouldn't change her for anything and am blessed that she calls me daddy and I am proud to call her my daughter, my love, my honey, my liebe.......

For the month of October I will be walking/running to hit my goal of 80km for the Run For Autism event 🏃‍♂️

If I have ever spoken to you, helped you, inspired you, cried with you, laughed with you, shared special moments with you or just have you as a friend on facebook I would love your support for this amazing cause.

I know times are tough right now and everyone is feeling the squeeze but if you have any spare change please donate, if you can't right now I get it, nothing to be ashamed about but I would still appreciate your support, a kind word, inbox or words of encouragement while I push for my goal of 80km in October.

I’m running this October for the 1 in 40 Australians on the autism spectrum.

I’m running 40km this October to raise funds for the estimated 1 in 40 Australians on the autism spectrum!

Increased awareness and understanding means more people than ever are being diagnosed as Autistic – connecting more people to the support they need to thrive throughout their lives. But it also means services are being stretched further than ever before - with many children left on long wait lists at critical times in their development.

I have joined Run for autism to raise funds so more Autistic Australians can access the life-changing assessments, autism-specific education, specialist therapies and adult community services they need to create their own unique brilliance!

Any contribution, large or small, will help create a more inclusive future for Australia’s Autistic community.
