Running with Heart: For Declan and Autism Awareness

Hi everyone, 

We are taking part in the run for Autism this October to raise awareness and funds for autism research and support services. This cause is incredibly close to our heart because of our amazing member Declan. 

Declan has a way of brightening the day of everyone he meets. His infectious laugh and kind heart are truly special and anyone lucky enough to know him is better for it. Declan's autism is his superpower, and he amazes us every single day with his beautiful heart and boundless spirit. He's an inspiration to our family, and we wouldn't change a thing about him. 

We are passionate about building awareness for autism because we believe autism is a gift that brings wider perspectives and strengths. However, not everyone sees it this way, and it's the lack of understanding that often creates the real challenges. Autism is not something to be "fixed"; its a different way of experiencing the world, and with a greater awareness and acceptance, we can help break down the barriers that many on the spectrum face.
